These were not only the biggest gigs of Coldplay’s career, but they also set the record for the largest stadium concerts of the 21st century, according to a press release. Coldplay’s ongoing Music of the Spheres Tour is the second highest-grossing tour in music history, and it continues to set records with every stop, selling over 12 million tickets and grossing over $1 billion during its historic run.
