Patrick Carney & Michelle Branch cover “A Horse with No Name” for “BoJack Horseman” soundtrack

NetflixPatrick Carney and Michelle Branch have shared a cover of America‘s 1971 hit “A Horse with No Name.”

The Black Keys drummer and his fiance recorded the track for the upcoming soundtrack to the Netflix animated series BoJack Horseman. You can listen to the cover now via Pitchfork.

The BoJack soundtrack also includes the show’s theme song, which Carney composed with his uncle, Ralph Carney, plus its ending credits theme, which was recorded by Grouplove. The show’s fourth season premieres September 8, and the soundtrack will be released that same day.

Carney and Branch, who got engaged in July, began dating while he was producing her latest album, Hopeless Romantic, released in April. The couple also spent the summer on the road together, with Carney playing drums in Branch’s band throughout her tour in support of the album.
