FilmMagic/FilmMagicEddie Vedder will perform alongside The Who‘s Pete Townshend during a show held September 13 at the Rosemont Theatre in Chicago. The Pearl Jam frontman, and noted Who fanatic, is joining Townshed for a performance of Classic Quadrophenia, the orchestral version of The Who’s classic 1973 concept album, Quadrophenia.
For the show, Townshend will also be accompanied by the Chicagoland Pops Orchestra and the Chicago Children’s Choir, as well as a cast of singers including Billy Idol and acclaimed U.K. tenor Alfie Boe.
Tickets will go on sale this Friday, July 28 at 10 a.m. CT. Proceeds raised will benefit Teen Cancer America, the charity Townshend and Who singer Roger Daltrey co-founded in 2012.
