ABC/Randy Holmes Prophets of Rage have debuted the video for their new single, “Living on the 110.” The clip, streaming now on YouTube, finds the rap-rock supergroup jamming the track while harrowing statistics regarding homelessness and poverty in the U.S. crawl across the screen.
“The 110 is a freeway in Los Angeles and living beneath it are thousands of homeless people,” guitarist Tom Morello previously said about the song. “Bentleys and Rolls Royces roaring by are literally driving on top of the poor and their makeshift homes, a picture perfect analogy for the grotesque economic inequality that plagues our times.”
“Living on the 110” will appear on the forthcoming self-titled Prophets of Rage debut album, which will be released September 15.
