Avenged Sevenfold previewing new song “Dose” in “Dungeon Hunter 5” video game

Credit: Jeff ForneyAvenged Sevenfold is gearing up to release a new track as a part of the ever-expanding version of their album The Stage. If you play the online-multiplayer video game Dungeon Hunter 5, you can hear it right now.

The song, called “Dose,” is playing in a special “bat-themed” dungeon in the game, designed around the visual themes of The Stage.  The level will be available for the next two weeks.

If you’re not a Dungeon Hunter player, you’ll be able to hear “Dose” when it’s officially released on Friday, July 14.

Over the past month, Avenged Sevenfold has been adding new songs to The Stage in an effort to turn the album into a “living piece of art.” So far, they’ve shared covers of the Mexican folk song “Malaguena Salerosa,” and the track “Retrovertigo,” originally by experimental rockers Mr. Bungle.
