Watch unearthed footage of Nirvana filming a music video in an empty RadioShack

Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagic, IncA video of a very young Nirvana filming a music video in an empty RadioShack store in Aberdeen, Washington has surfaced online. The clip was filmed in 1988 for the band’s first studio demo. You can watch it now on YouTube.

At the time, Nirvana was going by the name Ted Ed Fred. For both the video and the demo, Kurt Cobain and Krist Novoselic were joined by MelvinsDale Crover on drums.

Nirvana went through a number of drummers before Dave Grohl joined the band in 1990.
