Imagine Dragons to stream concert in virtual reality

ABC/Randy HolmesImagine Dragons will play a special one-off show at the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles June 15. If you’re not going to the show, you can still imagine that you’re there by watching it live in virtual reality.

The concert will be streamed in virtual reality thanks to the NextVR platform, in partnership with Citi and Live Nation. In addition to watching the show, you’ll also be able to see behind-the-scenes footage.

“From being a fly on the wall as the artists get amped-up for their performance to walking side by side with them as they take the stage, this will be a thrilling journey that fans couldn’t otherwise access,” declares press release.

Earlier this year, Slash broadcast his performance at the Los Angeles Zoo in virtual reality with NextVR.
