ABC/Randy HolmesEarlier this year, Imagine Dragons partnered with software company Adobe to launch Make the Cut, a competition to create a new edit of the band’s “Believer” video. Today, the contest winners are announced, and ABC Radio is premiering the winning video in the Best Young Creator category, which honors the best video edited by someone under 25 years old.
The video was edited by Nicolas Burnage, a 22-year-old who lives in France.
The entries were judged by a panel including Imagine Dragons themselves. The Best Young Creator takes home a $1,000 prize for the winning video. Other categories include Best Short Form, which recognizes a video that lasts between 30 and 60 seconds long, Most Unexpected and Fan Favorite. Meanwhile, the overall grand-prize winner will be awarded $25,000.
“Believer” is a track from Imagine Dragons’ forthcoming album Evolve, which will be released June 23.
