Credit: Danny ClinchMuse is planning to reissue their first two albums, 1999’s Showbiz and 2001’s Origin of Symmetry, in a new collection titled Origin of Muse.
Responding to a fan on Twitter, frontman Matt Bellamy says that Origin of Muse will include the “first two albums plus early demos and rare stuff.” He also describes the collection as a “kind of autobiography of [our] music.”
In addition to looking back into the past, Muse is also looking towards their future with a new song called “Dig Down,” which they premiered last week. Bellamy estimates that another new single will be arriving “later this year.”
Muse is currently on tour alongside Thirty Seconds to Mars. They’ll also be headlining this year’s Lollapalooza, Bunbury, Firefly and Life Is Beautiful festivals.
