Mike Patton, Dave Lombardo project Dead Cross going on tour

Ipecac RecordingsFormer Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo and Faith No More frontman Mike Patton‘s new hardcore band Dead Cross will embark on their first North American tour this summer. The outing begins August 10 in Santa Ana, California, and will conclude September 23 in Denver.

“Everything about Dead Cross screams aggression,” says Lombardo in a statement. “I have no idea what kind of chaos it will conjure on stage or in the audience, but I know it’s going to be a hell of a good time.”

In addition to the headlining dates, Dead Cross will play Riot Fest in Chicago this September.  Dead Cross’ self-titled debut album will be released August 4.
