Tool adds Mike Patton’s Fantômas, Clutch to guest-heavy Southern California show

Courtesy of ToolTool‘s upcoming show at the Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernardino, California just got even more exciting, as the band has added Mike Patton‘s group Fantômas and Clutch to the event’s lineup.

Along with the Faith No More frontman, Fantômas also includes Melvins frontman Buzz Osborne. The group hasn’t played a show in the U.S. since 2008.

The new additions join an already heavy lineup that includes Melvins, Primus and a DJ set from The Crystal Method.

The San Bernardino show takes place June 24, and will be the closing date on Tool’s summer North American tour, which kicks off May 24 in Fairfax, Virginia.

Last week, frontman Maynard James Keenan wrapped up his tour with his other band, A Perfect Circle. While both bands are purportedly working on new music, neither will be releasing new albums this year.
