Paramore covers The Strokes at Nashville show; announces 2018 PARAHOY! fan cruise

ABC/Lou RoccoOn the eve of the release of their new album After Laughter, Paramore played a tiny hometown gig in Nashville Thursday night, where Hayley Williams and company busted out a cover of The Strokes single, “Someday.” You can watch fan-recorded footage of the performance now on YouTube.

Meanwhile, After Laughter, Paramore’s fifth studio effort, is released today. The album, which marks the return of original member Zac Farro to the band, finds the now trio moving in a poppier direction, with ’80s inspired singles “Hard Times” and “Told You So.”

In other Paramore news, the band has announced the 2018 edition of their PARAHOY! fan cruise. The third edition of the event will set sail from Miami to the Bahamas on April 6, and will return on April 10. Visit Parahoy.com for ticket info.

Paramore will be playing ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! next Wednesday, May 17. They’re also scheduled to play the Good Morning American Summer Concert Series August 25.
