Credit: Alex LakeThom Yorke is joining his band mate Jonny Greenwood in the world of the film scoring.
According to Variety, the Radiohead frontman will compose music for the upcoming film Suspiria, a remake of the 1977 cult classic from Italian horror icon Dario Argento.
The new movie’s director, Luca [LOO-kah] Guadagnino [gwah dah NEE noe], says that working with Yorke is a “dream come true.”
“Our goal is to make a movie that will be a disturbing and transforming experience: for this ambition, we could not find a better partner than Thom,” he adds.
Greenwood, meanwhile, is well known for his work with director Paul Thomas Anderson, having composed the scores for the films There Will Be Blood, The Master and Inherent Vice.
