Humanz, the cartoon band’s long-awaited fifth studio effort, arrives at number two on the chart with 140,000 equivalent album units sold, 115,000 of which were pure album sales.

Not only did Gorillaz tie their best chart debut, but Humanz also gave the band the best-selling week of their career. Their previous high mark came courtesy of 2010’s Plastic Beach, which also debuted at number two on the Billboard 200, but with 112,000 copies sold.

Gorillaz will be touring the U.S. in support of Humanz this summer, starting July 8 in Chicago.
