Prepare for “Mania”: Fall Out Boy announces new album, single and North American tour

Island Records/DCD2 RecordsAre you ready for Mania? That’s the title of Fall Out Boy‘s new album, which will be released September 15.

Fall Out Boy has been teasing the announcement of Mania this whole week with various purple images, leading people to think they might be releasing an album called Purple. While that isn’t the case, the album’s cover is awash in Prince‘s favorite color.

For your first taste of Mania, Fall Out Boy has shared the album’s first single, titled “Young and Menace.” The track is available for download via iTunes.  You can also watch its video now on YouTube.

And if that isn’t enough, Fall Out Boy has also announced a North American tour in support of Mania. The fall outing begins October 20 in Cleveland and will conclude November 18 in Phoenix. Visit FallOutBoy.com for ticket info.
