Nickelback to celebrate National Concert Day at NYC show

Courtesy of Live NationNickelback will be playing a special show at New York City’s Irving Plaza in honor of National Concert Day, held May 1.

National Concert Day, started by event promoter Live Nation, celebrates fans who buy concert tickets, as well as the artists, managers and venue staff who make those shows possible. The show’s lineup also includes Foreigner, The Roots, Daughtry, country singer Jason Aldean and Latin star Prince Royce.

In addition, Live Nation will celebrate National Concert Day the week of May 1 by offering $20 tickets to a variety of summer tours. Eligible tours include Kings of Leon, Deftones with Rise Against, Muse with Thirty Seconds to Mars, Korn with Stone Sour, Incubus with Jimmy Eat World, and Depeche Mode.
